- $100k - $107k base (+17% super and leave loading)
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and research assistance under the direction of senior research staff.
- Help complete work delivering a prototype diagnostic test for a point-of-care molecular diagnostic platform.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team of researchers working on the core research project.
Requirements
- A university degree in biological, biomedical, or biotechnological science or a related discipline.
- Direct experience in advanced molecular biology techniques, including LAMP and other techniques like PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA extraction, and primer design.
- Knowledge of research protocols, experimental design, and planning.
- Experience with computer systems and applications, including LabArchives or alternative data storage systems.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
