Responsibilities
Work closely with Prof Tamera Corte (CIA) and the team at the Centre of Research Excellence in Pulmonary Fibrosis (CRE-PF)
Undertake research in the fields of implementation science and clinical research to integrate novel tools and technology with the goal of improving diagnosis and standardizing care for patients
Develop, design, and undertake various research projects
Maintain quality, standards, and excellence in all research activities and outputs
Coordinate activities with other staff within the team
Requirements
Hold PhD in Health, Science, Medicine, or related discipline
Experience in implementation science or clinical research
Experience developing research evidence by producing original, high quality, and independent research
Demonstrated ability to perform extensive statistical analyses
Ability to communicate effectively across a range of media and forums
Experience in the design of research protocols and writing of manuscripts
Accuracy, attention to detail, highly organized with the ability to work according to strict deadlines and manage various demands
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgment and ability to prioritize workload during busy periods
Ability to work both independently and to lead a research team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgment in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work

Total remuneration package of up to $126,637 comprising base salary within the range of $98,473 to $108,237 plus 17% superannuation.
Responsibilities
Manage the research project including preparing a project plan which identifies roles and responsibilities, timeline, and engagement approach.
Schedule project meetings and liaise with UTAS finance to arrange subcontracting of external case study partners.
Coordinate and manage stakeholder engagement with selected external case study partners, including confirming engagement activities and facilitating workshops.
Liaise with climate scientists to deliver curated climate information via factsheets, reports, and in-person presentations.
Coordinate, finalise and deliver complex reporting and strategic communications from the external case study findings.
Requirements
Experience in knowledge brokering, engaging with external stakeholders from different levels of government.
A highly developed understanding of climate change science, climate responsive decision-making and adaptation action.
An awareness of local, state and federal government governance, policy-making and decision-making.
Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, including developing and maintaining relationships and effective communication.
Experience in managing projects including planning, timeline management, delivery of milestones, contract initiation, budget preparation and management.
