Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of Honours students inclusive of onboarding, funding support, student oral presentation coordination, thesis examination support, and project promotion.
- Facilitate the preparation, administration, and coordination of legal agreements related to Honours alongside our Legal representative.
- Oversee the process of releasing funding support for students enrolled in Honours, ensuring efficiency and adherence to funding guidelines.
Requirements
- Completion of a degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and / or education or training.
- Ability to acquire understanding of the University’s structure, programs, policies, and operations, and apply this knowledge to undertake effective management of the day-to-day operations and communications that support HDR and Honours students.
- Commitment to providing a high level of quality client service.
- Advanced computer literacy including the ability to use databases, electronic diaries and Microsoft 365 applications such as Share Point, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, the internet and the ability to learn new systems/packages/processes quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and provide academic leadership for the Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Biomedical Science Honours (BScHons) and Master of Biomedical Science (MBiomedSc) programs within the Department of Paediatrics.
Oversee the coordination, teaching, assessment, and evaluation of these programs.
Liaise with and engage student supervisors primarily located at Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) and Royal Children's Hospital (RCH).
Lead assessment procedures and communicate results to students and the University.
Contribute to the successful evaluation of programs and recruitment of student cohorts.
Requirements
PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
Experience in supervising coursework and higher degree research students.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Excellent mentoring and guiding skills for students.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
A research profile at a national level with a strong publication record in high-impact peer-reviewed journals (advantageous).
Postgraduate teaching experience in a relevant area (advantageous).
