Responsibilities

Maintaining and operating critical plant growth infrastructure, including glasshouses, greenhouses, and growth cabinets.
Setting up experiments and monitoring plant health.
Contributing to innovative research outcomes.
Supporting sustainable practices and ensuring efficient use of resources.
Adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

At least 1-2 years of horticulture experience, including glasshouse and greenhouse work.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining plant growth equipment such as microscopes, autoclaves, and irrigation systems.
Ability to monitor plant health and address issues such as diseases and pest infestations promptly.
Strong attention to safety, with knowledge of OH&S standards and a commitment to compliance.
Forklift and/or skid steer loader certificates, with a willingness to work across multiple facilities and in varied weather conditions.
