Responsibilities

Salary
Salary range: Level A, $106,089 – $113,697 p.a. or Level B, $119,839 – $141,790 p.a. (pro rata) plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
Lead a range of studies to understand the healthcare consumer and clinician context to help shape interventions.
Learn from the implementation process in pilot and demonstration programs.
Understand barriers and facilitators to intervention adoption at scale.
Work with expert advisory groups, including consumer representatives.
Collaborate with Primary Healthcare Networks and General Practices.
Develop and integrate an understanding of the implementation context with the Implementation Scientist.
Ensure coverage of all relevant costs and benefits associated with program implementation.
Requirements
A PhD in a relevant discipline such as a clinical discipline, psychology or a social science.
Demonstrated understanding of the Australian health system.
Demonstrated ability to undertake qualitative data collection and analysis.
Experience undertaking research involving consumers and/or clinicians.
An understanding of the role of qualitative research in implementation science.
Demonstrated track record of peer reviewed publications of qualitative research in high quality journals.
Demonstrated capacity to present papers at conferences and workshops.
Capacity to work with a range of stakeholders across healthcare including consumers, clinicians, managers and policy makers.
Capacity to contribute to the academic life and administrative duties of the Centre and Institute.
Capacity for and interest in interdisciplinary and multi-method research.
Capacity to travel to research sites, including interstate, for up to one week at a time.
Benefits
Fixed-term, full-time until 31 December 2026 with the possibility to extend depending on funding and performance.
