Total remuneration valued to $130,436 - $145,816 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $110,220 - $123,227 (pro rata) pa (HEW 8), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
Responsibilities
Deliver high level educational data analytics solutions to enhance the quality of ACU's online education offerings.
Provide insights into online student behaviour driven by analysis of internal and external data for the online course offerings at ACU.
Translate analytical findings into practical intervention strategies to enhance the experience and success of online students.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, translating findings from analysis for non-technical audiences.
Provide the data and insights that drive our continual improvement cycle.
Influence operations across the organisation to drive quality student experience, improve retention and establish an evaluation plan for ACU Online offerings.
Leverage Banner (student administration), Canvas LMS (learning and teaching) and Explorance Blue (survey and evaluation) data to generate insights.
Apply data science knowledge and skills within ACU's Microsoft and Oracle driven enterprise data environment (PowerBI, SQL etc.).
Engage with stakeholders about data and analytics requirements, progression of analytics projects, and interpretation of data and reporting products.
Requirements
Understanding of ACU's mission and values and demonstrate an active contribution to them.
Experience in data analytics and the application of data science knowledge.
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with quality assurance frameworks and processes associated with online educational products.
