Publish academic papers and other scholarly outputs to a high standard, and in accordance with the research expectations of a Level A academic at the Faculty of Arts

Requirements
PhD in peace and conflict studies or a closely related discipline
Demonstrated strong research project coordination skills
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a research team and work with other members of staff to meet project aims and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to develop good relationships and work effectively with partners, organisations, industry and/or professional associations
Capacity for multidisciplinary research and/or the willingness to engage in cross-disciplinary environments
Demonstrated ability to conduct fieldwork and qualitative research (e.g. interviews, case studies)
A track record in research, writing and publications in the appropriate area and the potential to develop further research expertise
Ability to present research findings to a wide range of audiences (e.g. academic and industry conferences)

Research leadership to progress one of the Initiative’s two main research streams: (1) to enhance the role of conflict prevention in Australian foreign policy and (2) innovations in Peacebuilding
