Responsibilities
Coordinate and support the delivery and promotion of Accommodation outreach programs, projects, events, activities, and initiatives to achieve operational and strategic goals.
Provide comprehensive project and event coordination, as well as production of written and visual content (email communication, website content, online mobile videos etc.).
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with portfolio teams, relevant faculty and division staff, PVCESE teams, UNSW Future Students, and external stakeholders such as agents, secondary schools, and scholarship organizations.
Coordinate workshops, seminars, training, forums, meetings, events, and manage follow-ups and project status reporting.
Work with stakeholders to update UNSW Accommodation sites and other web content.
Prepare and disseminate promotional communications and materials, including emails, flyers, reports, e-news, web, and social media content.
Collaborate with the Head of Colleges and Manager Operations (Accommodation) on program, project, and initiative plans and schedules.
Manage program and event management systems, including invitations, registrations, post-event administration, and project evaluation and reporting.
Support adherence to UNSW governance pathways to ensure consistent project management.
Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of policies, procedures, guidelines, and training materials related to programs, projects, and initiatives.
Requirements
Demonstrated experience in event/project/program (including managing logistics, promotions, communications, budgeting, documentation and reporting).
Advanced communication skills, including demonstrated experience in content writing and editing (official communications, reports, promotional and web content), proofreading and the ability to research and analyse material and summarise key issues.
Demonstrated experience in video content creation, using mobile.
Demonstrated ability to manage your time effectively, respond to changing priorities, handle multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and databases and understanding of or previous experience in website maintenance.
Familiarity with Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign strongly desirable.

Candidates will need to have full working rights – this role is not available for sponsorship.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, business hours, with some flexibility to start a little earlier or a little later in the day.
Occasional key events happening outside of business hours (open days etc.) that will also need attendance.
While there is some flexibility to work from home occasionally, most of the work must be done on campus.

Total remuneration valued to $106,366 - $114,254 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $89,881 - $96,546 (pro rata) pa (HEW 6), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient, safe and customer friendly management of the property.
Support the administrative and operational activities of the accommodation in alignment with the University's mission and Living and Learning Communities strategy.
Be the first point of contact for residents, guests, landlords and suppliers.
Support the administration of residential support programs, including processing contracts and invoices.
Assist in the promotion of residential accommodation to potential students on campus and at regional school expos.
Assist with the support of students including event planning and programming.
Utilise the business system, StarRez to provide reporting used to coordinate business activities.
Attend Open Days, school expos and other marketing events.
Requirements
Must hold Australian work rights to apply for this position.
This position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People Check (WWVP) (ACT only).
Candidates must have permanent work rights for permanent/continuing roles.
