Responsibilities
Provide strategic and operational support to the Children’s Brain Cancer Centre’s research activities.
Work closely with the Co-Directors & Management Team to manage the strategic growth and objectives of the research program and key partnerships for the Centre.
Lead all operational business functions, including finance, human resources, postgraduate student administration, resource management, workplace health and safety, and research administration including management of ethics and governance compliance, and grant management and reporting.
Provide high level support to the Co-Directors & Management Team including overseeing the implementation of the Centre’s research strategy and research priorities, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures for the University and/or Queensland Health, and relevant statutory bodies.

Requirements
Significant experience and expertise in research management in a hospital and/or University setting.

Demonstrated capacity to develop, manage and coordinate research projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
