Requirements
- High school education is desirable, with two to three years of relevant commercial or institutional custodial experience, including relevant training/experience in the use of commercial cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Good basic supervisory skills (decision-making, interpersonal, adaptability, and time management).
- Strong written and oral communications.
- Ability to work effectively with a broad range of people in an educational and professional environment.
- Ability to work cooperatively with employees from other departments and to deal courteously with students, faculty, staff and visitors.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong computer aptitude, including Microsoft Office and ability to learn operational applications.
- Physical ability to do custodial work and operate cleaning equipment. Knowledge of troubleshooting vacuums or other housekeeping equipment is a plus.
Benefits
- The anticipated hourly wage is $20.50, with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential (annualized to $44,720). The total compensation ranges between $60,250 and $74,042, depending on which medical and dental plans are selected.

- Performs a variety of HVAC and Building Automation System (BAS) maintenance, operation, installation, and repair tasks, including complex installation and repair projects.
