- Level A/B – $75,305 to $126,971 pa (plus 17% superannuation)

Join our Oral Health discipline responsible for producing job ready graduates and preparing professionals to practice in urban, rural and regional community settings.
Actively contribute to teaching, subject coordination and curriculum development, teaching a range of preclinical and clinical subjects in the Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy/Hygiene) program using both didactic and clinical delivery methods. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to develop and progress an active research profile with a strategic
research and innovation focus aligned to the overall strategies of the University.
The appointee may be able to provide clinical services in the Charles Sturt Oral Health and Dental Clinics upon negotiation with the Dean of Rural Dentistry and Oral Health and the Clinical Director.
This position is required for on-campus teaching and as such remote work options are not available. Generous assistance, including financial, is available to help you relocate to Wagga Wagga to take up this opportunity.
About you:
- A qualification relevant to the discipline and appropriate to the level being applied for
- Full registration (for teaching/research) as a Dentist or Oral Health Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra)
- Excellent understanding of the clinical practice of oral health therapy, supported by a record of teaching and subject coordination relevant to the discipline and appropriate to the level being applied for
- Evidence of the delivery of high quality student-centred learning and teaching in oral health therapy and/or general dentistry
- A record of research activity or capability relevant to the discipline and appropriate to the level being applied for, as outlined in the position descriptions, may facilitate the progression of research opportunities.
