About Us
In 2004 our School of Nursing was established at our regional Mandurah campus. Due to enrolment growth, it was expanded to our Perth campus in 2016. We offer both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs at our South Street and Mandurah campuses.
We take pride in providing students pursuing careers in nursing with exceptional learning and development resources. Our students benefit from having access to clinical demonstration wards equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, advance audio visuals and simulation tools.
Our team aims to deliver high quality scholarship and learning experiences for our students through our strong clinical partnerships across a wide range of areas throughout the state, as well as national and international research collaborations.
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Nursing Practice Simulation Officer with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to join our team at our South Street Campus. In this role you will plan, manage, coordinate and implement clinical technical and simulation support to academic staff and students to ensure the effective delivery of the discipline’s teaching programs.
What you’ll bring to this role
- An understanding of clinical nursing and/or midwifery principles.
- Registration with AHPRA as a Division 1 Nurse with at least two years’ experience in healthcare.
- Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound judgement and initiative to meet work objectives.
- Expertise in the maintenance, setting up, operation and application of a wide range of equipment required for the activities and assessments conducted in the clinical simulation suite.
