Salary
  • Competitive remuneration package in either USD (for expatriate candidates) or VND (for Vietnamese candidates), along with a performance bonus dependent on meeting all key selection criteria.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the academic and strategic leadership of RMIT Vietnam.
  • Provide strategic direction to the Schools, Students, Engagement and Research portfolios.
  • Oversee academic activities including academic policies, processes, workload models and budgets for RMIT Vietnam.
  • Foster a one-university mindset on strategic matters in collaboration with Deputy Vice Chancellors for colleges and portfolios across RMIT University.
  • Manage legal compliance expectations of RMIT with Vietnam laws.

Requirements
  • A Ph.D. qualification with a demonstrated record of academic leadership and an outstanding, active research track record.
  • Strong understanding of the higher education landscape, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Significant relevant experience in multinational organisations of similar size, scale and complexity.
  • Exceptional influencing and relationship-building skills.
  • A contemporary approach to leadership with a track record of building engaged and capable executive leadership teams.
