Salary
  • Base salary range: $80,243 – $88,940 p.a. plus 17% superannuation

Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of technical support to researchers.
  • Perform experimental molecular and cellular biology work.
  • Assist in the processing of tumour samples for spatial transcriptomic profiling.

Requirements
  • Relevant degree qualification (preferably a BSc Hons) or an equivalent degree in molecular biology, pathology, lab medicine, biomedical science, genetics, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Substantial experience in tissue sectioning and staining, single cell or spatial transcriptomics, or next generation sequencing.
  • Competency in standard techniques used in at least one of the following: histopathology, molecular biology or cell biology.
  • Compliance with Human and Animal Ethics requirements.
