Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative photochemical tools for 3D printing.
  • Utilize different wavelengths of light to selectively trigger specific reactions.
  • Streamline the fabrication of complex, multi-material 3D objects with precision and functionality.
  • Mentor or co-supervise PhD and master students.
  • Engage with industry partners.

Requirements
  • PhD (or soon to be awarded) in material science or chemistry.
  • Expertise in photopolymerization and photocontrolled/living radical polymerization.
  • Strong background in photochemistry, polymer chemistry, and/or 3D printing.
  • Excellent experimental and analytical skills.
  • Ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and collaborate across disciplines.
  • Previous research experience in polymer synthesis and photochemistry.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
