Salary
  • Total remuneration valued to $190,982 - $210,230 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $161,830 - $178,282 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in learning, teaching and research activities in the field of Midwifery.
  • Contribute to the governance of academic programs in the discipline of midwifery.
  • Build relationships with external organisations and communities.
  • Make significant contributions to quality improvement of midwifery programs.
  • Mentorship of staff in the learning, teaching and research activity of the School.
  • Development, implementation and accreditation of the midwifery curricula.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership in the field of Midwifery.
  • Strong background in learning and teaching, scholarship, and research in Midwifery.
  • Ability to build relationships with external organisations and communities.
  • Experience in quality improvement of academic programs.
  • Mentorship experience in an academic setting.
