Responsibilities

Work as part of a team with academics in Perth and Albany, and teachers and school leaders in Albany.
Create an inclusive, engaging, and productive learning environment for undergraduate students.
Deliver face-to-face tutorials for two units in Semester 1, 2025: EDUC1012 Teaching Mathematics in the Early Years of School and EDUC1013 Teaching English in the Early Years of School.
Mark assessments and participate in moderation of tutorial content provided by UWA academics.

Requirements

Experience teaching primary school students.
Strong pedagogical knowledge and understanding.
Expert knowledge in either teaching the English curriculum or the Maths curriculum in the early years.
Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA is preferable.
A working with children check.
A Masters degree (MEd, or MTeach) or doctoral degree (EdD, PhD).
