Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a team with academics in Perth and Albany, and teachers and school leaders in Albany.
  • Create an inclusive, engaging, and productive learning environment for undergraduate students.
  • Deliver face-to-face tutorials for two units in Semester 1, 2025: EDUC1012 Teaching Mathematics in the Early Years of School and EDUC1013 Teaching English in the Early Years of School.
  • Mark assessments and participate in moderation of tutorial content provided by UWA academics.

Requirements
  • Experience teaching primary school students.
  • Strong pedagogical knowledge and understanding.
  • Expert knowledge in either teaching the English curriculum or the Maths curriculum in the early years.
  • Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of WA is preferable.
  • A working with children check.
  • A Masters degree (MEd, or MTeach) or doctoral degree (EdD, PhD).
