Exciting opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join a team driven by meaningful work, assisting with maintaining key digital systems to deliver outstanding service to Australian schools.
Hourly Rate: From $57.21 to $65.05 (HEW 5) plus 11.5% employer's superannuation

The Role
The Technical Business Analyst maintains and supports key digital systems, ensuring they run smoothly and securely. The role involves supporting internal teams, collaborating with external partners, and helping to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The role is key in delivering the My Mind Check tool to Australian schools safely and reliably.
The Voluntary Mental Health Check Tool (VMHCT) Project is dedicated to supporting the mental health and well-being of school students through a digital assessment tool. The project collaborates with experts, educational departments, and various stakeholders to ensure the tool meets the needs of Australian schools. The "My Mind Check" tool helps schools identify students at risk and provides recommendations for care.
Please note: offers of work will vary based on operational requirements and individual availability. The VMHCT Project is expected to be concluded on or around June 2025, and there is no guarantee of further work being offered after this time.
About You
You will have relevant qualifications (such as a diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field) and/or experience in technical support or system management, ideally in education, health, or mental health sectors. Your problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders will set you up for success in the role. Experience in managing systems like Salesforce, AWS, O365, and WordPress will allow you to provide reliable support to internal teams and external partners while maintaining security and compliance. You’ll identify opportunities for automation and improvements in system maintenance and testing, ensuring the My Mind Check tool is delivered securely to schools. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities will help drive the success of the project.

Essential Criteria
- Relevant qualification in IT, computer science or related fields.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with O365 mailbox exchange, Salesforce or other CRM, AWS and WordPress along with a willingness to upskill quickly in areas of development across these applications.
- Experience in testing web applications.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with other teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- A readiness to actively engage in a dynamic team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to hands-on problem-solving.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in cybersecurity and the creation of technical documents is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in Education or Mental Health.
Specific Role Requirements
This position requires a criminal record check and a Working with Children Check. Working hours may also vary from time to time to accommodate business needs.
