Salary
  • Salary Package: From $119,056 per annum (HEW 8), plus 17% employer's superannuation

Responsibilities
  • Support the design and delivery of programs to advance University wide Experiential Education initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and strategic guidance in Enterprise and Employability.
  • Contribute to the design, optimisation, and enhancement of flagship programs such as the Global Leadership Program (GLP), Professional and Community Engagement (PACE), MQ Microcredentials, and MQ Student Employment (MQSE).
  • Coordinate compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to the Fair Work Act 2009, and navigate regulations set forth by TEQSA HESF, ESOS, and CRICOS standards.
  • Manage relationships and provide support to academic staff across Faculties, including Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.

Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant area and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Expertise and sustained experience delivering excellence in one of the following domains: Career and Leadership Development, Enterprise and Employability, Global Education and Exchange, Lifelong Learning or Work Integrated Learning, combined with strong understanding of the higher education context and evolving policy environment.
  • Extensive track record of driving the design and optimisation of programs and initiatives in that specific domain, including optimising quality and efficiency through procedures, systems and processes.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to liaise with and provide advice and support to academic staff, such as Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.
  • Proven ability to stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices within the field, and apply findings to program development and optimisation efforts.
