Base salary: will be in the range $110,365 - $155,246 + 17% Superannuation (Academic Level B or C)
About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a teaching-focused academic to join a top 50 university as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in the School of Public Health. You will join a team of passionate teaching and research academics committed to excellence in teaching, research and engagement. We work collaboratively to deliver a suite of programs at undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are committed to ensuring our programs are contemporary, where our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills to be future public health professionals. We are a school with a diverse, innovative research portfolio, where we address a range of public health challenges. We have strong research teams working on climate change and health, digital health, health services research, environmental health, health promotion, and women’s health. Ideally, you will have expertise in epidemiology/clinical epidemiology teaching.
The role offers a chance to expand your teaching impact through leadership at the program or discipline level. You will coordinate or lead staff activities aligned with the university’s values and build collaborative relationships, both internally and externally. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of others, demonstrating growing influence on teaching practices, policies, and knowledge.
