Responsibilities
  • Play a crucial role in advancing Uncrewed Aerial Systems (UAS) technology.
  • Involved in the development of innovative fixed-wing delivery drones for long-range transport.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers on UAS Command and Control (C2) functionality.
  • Apply rigorous systems engineering methodologies to design efficient drone systems.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies to support the certification process for drone solutions.
  • Work closely with industry and research partners, as well as internal team members.

Requirements
  • Experience in the design, build, and testing of small to medium (< 150 kg) UAS or other autonomous/robotic systems.
  • High degree of competence in CAD (preferably SolidWorks) or similar tools in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach to engineering challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in production and management of electrical and/or mechanical product lifecycle management (PLM) and engineering drawings.
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
