Responsibilities
  • Provide a range of sophisticated technical software development services (analysis, design, development, implementation, and support) aimed primarily at building and maintaining the University’s core operations systems such as ServiceNow.
  • Technical leadership responsibilities in project work and in the recommendation of new technologies and standards.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in providing support services and developing ServiceNow to a high standard.
  • Extensive experience in enterprise application software development, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support - a thorough understanding of the SDLC.
  • High level of expertise in ServiceNow product knowledge in the ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, CSM/ESM and HRSD domains.
  • Configuring and developing ServiceNow using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, ACLs, Service Portal, Service Catalog, and Forms.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ServiceNow technologies such as JavaScript/Glide, Angular, HTML, PowerShell, Jelly scripting etc.
  • ServiceNow MID server architecture, service discovery, probes, sensors.
  • Development of integrations with strategic platforms using REST, SOAP, JSON APIs.
  • Development of solutions using scripted APIs, Flows, Catalog Builder, and Spokes (Workday, AWS, Azure).
  • Substantial experience in debugging or troubleshooting complex problems while providing effective progress communications and fault escalation procedures.
  • Ability to provide after-hours support as required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ITIL Foundations, principles and its application.
