The Department of Accounting & Finance in the Business School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses as well as research-based doctoral degrees. Academics in the Department deliver high quality teaching and conduct high quality research.
About the opportunity
- Deliver high-quality teaching and develop inclusive curricula for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Conduct impactful research in digital finance and big data, aiming for publications in reputable journals and securing funding.
- Contribute to School governance, collaborate with external organizations, and support inclusion and diversity initiatives.
About you
- Hold a PhD or equivalent in Finance.
- Demonstrated research interest, and ability to teach, in the area of digital finance, including blockchain and cryptocurrency.
- Demonstrated interest in the application of Big Data and machine learning techniques to finance-related problems, including research and teaching initiatives would be highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative teaching approaches, assessment and materials for units and courses.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive teaching practices to extend equality of opportunity for all learners.
- Demonstrate a significant personal contribution and commitment to high quality teaching and learning, including prior teaching experience.
