Salary
  • Total remuneration valued to $191,064 - $210,313 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $161,830 - $178,282 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to longitudinal workforce studies and investigations in teacher preparation and professional practice.
  • Work within a high performing research team of senior, internationally recognised scholars.
  • Contribute to the development of scholarship, research and professional activities in teacher education and assessment.
  • Engage in large-scale mixed method longitudinal research examining performance assessment, data linkage, and moderation.
  • Explore the notion of teacher/teaching quality in relation to national and international reviews and reform agendas.

Requirements
  • Strong track record in the field of teacher education and assessment.
  • Experience in the application of professional standards in teacher education.
  • Candidates must hold Australian work rights to apply for this position.
