Overview:
Full-time, Fixed Term position until December 2025
Salary Level: HEW 5 + 17% Superannuation
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University.
About the Role:
As Student Lifecycle Officer, you will support the effective day-to-day operations of academic administration across all programs, modes and locations. You will primarily focus on the administration of Student Conduct matters across the STEM College, however, will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a broad range of student lifecycle activities across the College.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering administrative and/or student conduct services in an educational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit, contributing to the achievement of team goals.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice and drive creative solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance.
- Demonstrated organisational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of management, staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated high-level computer skills using Word, Excel, databases, Internet and email with accuracy and attention to detail.
