These positions are offered on a casual basis and is based at our Bebegu Yumba campus in Townsville or the Cairns Nguma-bada campus. Classified as HEWL 3 + up to 17% superannuation.

We are looking for a passionate and driven individuals to join our vibrant team in the Marketing, Future Students and Admissions Directorate and help shape the future for prospective students interested in studying at James Cook University. If you're passionate about providing high-quality customer service and enjoy engaging with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, we want to hear from you!
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
We are seeking candidates with successful backgrounds in sales, student recruitment, or contact centre environment, showcasing consultative and solution sales techniques. Exceptional customer service skills are a must, as you'll be responsible for managing high volumes of inquiries and handling complex matters with the utmost confidentiality and discretion. With highly effective organisational and problem-solving skills, you’ll ensure that deadlines and targets are consistently met. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be vital as you’ll be interacting with a diverse range of people from various backgrounds, providing clear and concise information and advice. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, coupled with your ability to adapt to new software with keen attention to detail, will also be essential to succeed.

ABOUT MARKETING FUTURE STUDENTS AND ADMISSIONS DIRECTORATE
The Marketing, Future Students and Admissions Directorate provides strategic brand management, advertising and promotions which support the recruitment and admissions of undergraduate and post graduate students from domestic and international markets. The Directorate drives and encourages repeat engagement with the University and develops international partnerships and global mobility services that increase participation in higher education from a range of diverse backgrounds and expand JCU's global presence.
