Salary
  • $135,388 – $155,696 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation

Responsibilities
  • Lead development of innovative undergraduate courses in Food Science.
  • Develop research projects ensuring trans-disciplinary collaboration across research groups.
  • Engage with industry and government for significant collaboration.
  • Encourage creativity and innovation within the Faculty.
  • Promote and enhance the national and international profile of the University.

Requirements
  • A PhD in Food Science or a related discipline.
  • Outstanding national record of research distinction and impact in Food Science.
  • Evidence of inspirational leadership style promoting engagement and collaboration.
  • Experience in developing and implementing significant research programs.
  • Ability to secure research investment from competitive agencies.
  • Ability to forge relationships with industry stakeholders and professional bodies.
  • Excellence in providing research training at the postgraduate level.
  • Excellent personal and interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills.
