Responsibilities

  • Undertake research activities in line with the University’s research strategy
  • Work as part of a Defence-funded multi-disciplinary and multi-university team on magnetic navigation with quantum diamond sensors
  • Develop and solve algorithms associated with map matching and Kalman filtering
  • System noise modelling

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in computational modelling
  • Evidence of research output including publications and conference contributions
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • High level of communication skills
  • PhD in a relevant discipline or commensurate experience
  • Australian citizenship required due to sensitive nature of research
