Responsibilities

  • Enhance and safeguard the university's reputation.
  • Communicate Swinburne’s research, academic achievements, and organizational milestones through earned media.
  • Collaborate with various departments across the University.
  • Foster strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders, media organisations, and journalists.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated excellence in developing and executing creative, results-driven communications strategies.
  • Experience in managing the production and distribution of innovative content across various audiences.
  • A good track record in supporting and developing a team through change.
  • Experience in operational requirements for a content and communications team including budget and quality management.
  • Experience working effectively with stakeholders on strategic communications.
