Salary
  • Base salary range: $74,450 – $79,085 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with molecular and next-generation sequencing processing of samples.
  • Provide support and help liaise with clinical staff for patient recruitment, sample collection and initial stages of sample processing.
  • Prepare patient samples (blood and saliva) for genomic sequencing.

Requirements
  • Year 12 or equivalent competency.
  • Relevant research experience in conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research in human disease.
  • Experience with a range of molecular techniques including extraction of, and analysis of nucleic acids.
  • Knowledge of epigenetic regulation of histone modification.
  • Strong lab experience in ChIP-Seq and/or CUT&TAG.
  • Some after hours work may be required.
