Salary
  • UOM 6 – $96,459 – $104,413 p.a. plus 17% super

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support and services for Faculty research and teaching environments, effectively resolving infrastructure and facility service issues.
  • Establish and implement protocols to operationalise new research and teaching facilities while managing requirements such as maintenance, security access, and room bookings.
  • Assist facility users with queries and facilitate handover duties post-practicals to ensure efficient use of the facilities.
  • Support the delivery of small infrastructure projects and maintain user guides for all new environments, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet stakeholder needs.

Requirements
  • A relevant degree and/or trade, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and educational training.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management to support infrastructure development and cyclical maintenance of plant and equipment.
  • Proven experience in delivering minor infrastructure projects while engaging multiple contractors directly.
  • A current Victorian driver's licence and a licence to perform high-risk work, including DG (Dogging), LF (Forklift truck), CN (Non-slewing mobile crane), and SB (Basic scaffolding).
  • Knowledge of Australian occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
