About the role:
As the Lecturer (Youth Work), you will be accountable for high quality and innovative teaching and learning practices through the delivery and development of lectures, tutorials and other classes within the discipline of Youth Work at undergraduate, honours, and/or graduate and postgraduate levels. ACU teaches across a broad range of Youth Work units including fieldwork units and maintains institutional relationships with placement providers.
You will be required to teach across a range of topics and provide excellence and innovation in curriculum, content design and enhancement of supportive, inclusive and effective learning environments, including the practical application of effective support to students.
You'll contribute to the National School of Arts' research and publication profile and participate in research or scholarly activities which will lead to publications in refereed journals, books and other appropriate scholarly publications.

What we offer:

- Total remuneration valued to $134,709 - $158,968 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $113,831 - $134,397 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 3% salary increase will be effective from the beginning of the first full pay period commencing on or after 1st January 2025.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
- Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
