The School of Media and Communication is seeking Expressions of Interest for casual lecturing opportunities in Advertising, Public Relations and Digital Communication throughout 2025.
If you are an experienced Communication academic or industry professional with teaching experience, we are asking you to express your interest in these opportunities with the School of Media and Communication.
These roles involve teaching into courses in the Bachelor of Professional Communication, Master of Communication and Master of Advertising programs at RMIT’s city campus. The Bachelor of Professional Communication is also offered through the Singapore Institute of Management, so there may also be opportunities to teach intensive courses there.
Duties include tutorial delivery, lecturing and assessment (marking) as appropriate in 2025.
Although our needs and vacancies change, there are opportunities that exist across our programs regularly. By submitting an application you will be included in a Talent Pool that will be reviewed across the year, and may not guarantee a position.
About the Opportunity
This role may include tutorial delivery, lecturing and assessment (marking) as appropriate in 2025.
The role may involve independent teaching at various academic levels, delivering curriculum content, and managing assessments. Responsibilities could include:
- Contributing to assessment design
- Sharing student feedback
- Engaging with the teaching team
- Attending meetings
- Handling administrative tasks such as course coordination
- Responding to student queries
