The Opportunity
You will provide essential financial support and guidance to stakeholders. You will assist financial officers in various tasks, including travel bookings and arrangements, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, credit card data processing and taxation administration. The role is required to liaise closely with members of the Financial Services team and staff across the University, student and non-staff travelers as well as external service providers on a range of financial issues, contribute to the financial training across the University and ensure processes and policies comply with legislative requirements.

You will
- Book international and domestic travel, including flights, accommodation, car rental and transfers for our staff and students;
- Assist with the University’s operational financial functions to ensure the integrity of accounting outputs and efficient provision of accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card and travel functions;
- Coordinate University travel and undertake procurement activity on behalf of University organisational areas, including related procedures in compliance with University policy;
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on processes and systems to facilitate service delivery of finance and travel operations;
- Liaise closely with members of the Financial Services team and staff across the University on a range of financial and travel related issues.

You will possess:
- Completion of a diploma or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in an account’s environment, including taxation requirements, and general ledger reconciliation;
- Computer literacy including sound experience using accounting software and the Microsoft Suite;
- Knowledge and experience with travel systems and the travel industry to support sourcing and processing of bookings for corporate travel.
