Salary
  • Academic Level E - $203,919 p.a. plus up to 17% superannuation

Responsibilities
  • Provide academic leadership and managerial decision-making in Physiotherapy
  • Provide mentorship and support for junior academic staff career development
  • Provide leadership for the development, implementation and monitoring of student retention and success strategies
  • Manage accreditation and other quality assurance process for physiotherapy courses
  • Foster meaningful partnerships with industry, government, and community groups
  • Lead, develop and maintain an international research profile, contributing to the growth of the Institute through research and teaching.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated outstanding international scholarly reputation including an outstanding record of research publications in refereed international journals in Physiotherapy
  • Reputation as an eminent authority in physiotherapy, with a reputation for leadership at both a national and international level
  • Experience in establishing, leading and managing research groups
  • Extensive leadership and management experience, including a strong record of supervising Doctoral students to completion
  • Strong industry connections with industry, government and community groups in Physiotherapy
  • Ability to travel between Victorian campuses regularly
  • Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
