  • Remuneration Package: Academic Level B $139,458 to $164,559 p.a. (comprising Salary of $117,844 to $139,151 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)

Responsibilities
  • Deliver diverse research outputs
  • Develop partnerships
  • Enhance and expand the profile and impact of the Centre
  • Undertake social research
  • Prepare literature reviews and ethics applications
  • Analyse various sources of data
  • Write research reports
  • Manage research project timelines and budgets
  • Deliver presentations
  • Prepare funding proposals, policy briefs and submissions
  • Support various advocacy activities
  • Lead Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities

Requirements
  • Recent doctoral graduate
  • Passionate about applied, community-led research
  • Experience in producing research for non-academic audiences
  • Ability to work with government, industry, community and academic partners
  • Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to undertake traditional research activities
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Adaptable and flexible in managing competing deadlines and concurrent projects
  • Knowledge of socio-economic disadvantage or inequity, cultural diversity, urban development, infrastructure, housing and wellbeing
