Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and teach work-integrated learning and employability units of study.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of academic units within WIL, including placements, internships, industry projects, study tours, and career development units.
  • Ensure pedagogical input into the units to incorporate current theories and innovative WIL and career practices.
  • Provide a program which prepares students for the professional workplace and careers.

Requirements
  • Experience in tertiary teaching in areas relevant to Work Integrated Learning and Career Development Learning.
  • Strong record of teaching, curriculum development, and group facilitation.
  • Ability to implement high-quality student engagement methods in various learning modes.
  • Ability to foster and promote an inclusive, healthy, and safe learning environment.
  • Ability to participate effectively in continuous improvement and audit processes.
  • Skills in MS Office, including Excel, and experience in management and record keeping of information, database systems, and Canvas (or similar).
  • Expertise in research and publication in areas related to WIL and Employability is preferred.
  • An earned doctoral qualification or substantial progress toward a doctoral qualification.
  • A teaching qualification or progress towards a teaching qualification is preferred.
