Are you passionate about languages and thrive in a dynamic, detail-orientated environment? We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Administration Assistant to join our team.
In this key role, you will provide essential support to the translation project administration and customised tuition services, ensuring smooth operations and efficient service delivery. Your strong linguistic skills and interest in languages will be highly valued as you help coordinate the day-to-day activities of a fast-paced office.
Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including managing project administration, handling financial processes, liaising with stakeholders, and maintaining the quality and standards of our office procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support across various projects, ensuring the efficient functioning of daily office operations.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and activities, including scheduling, preparing documentation, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Administer financial processes, including organising quotes and maintaining accurate records with attention to detail.
- Support translation projects and personalise tuition services, ensuring compliance with administrative protocols and quality assurance standards.

About You
- Relevant experience or education in administration, with a keen interest in translation or previous experience working with languages.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a keen interest in working with languages.
- Proven ability to provide high-level customer service with effective interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including the right to work in Australia.
