About This Opportunity
The Director, Student Success and Wellbeing Services will lead UQ’s approach to enhance the student experience, promote academic development, and effectively respond to situations that adversely affect students.
In this role, you will provide strategic leadership on a range of services focused on community engagement, primary prevention, diversity, disability and inclusion, professional counselling, and mental health response services. Your guidance will ensure students thrive both academically and personally throughout their time at UQ.

About You
You have a deep understanding of the higher education sector, including the relevant legislative frameworks and the latest practices in student support and wellbeing. A visionary leader with proven leadership and management skills, capable of providing organisation-wide leadership and fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and inclusivity. You have a proven track record of driving institutional change and innovation, contributing to planning and policy development, and successfully handling sensitive issues with discretion. Additionally, you are skilled in building strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and adopting a collaborative approach to working with others.
