Salary

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Faculty’s strategic and business plans.
  • Define Faculty strategic support for its teaching and learning, research and engagement agendas.
  • Set local targets and implement programs that support their achievement.
  • Develop and manage effective systems for determining and monitoring the Faculty’s budget.
  • Emphasize financial and business planning, analysis, forecasting and reporting functions.
  • Negotiate and monitor the achievement of Faculty revenue targets.
  • Support operational governance matters, business planning, and implementation.
  • Provide high level assistance to researchers on grant submissions and reporting.
  • Coordinate regular reporting of Faculty KPIs to the DVC Learning & Teaching's Office.
  • Manage Faculty operations and infrastructure in support of the Executive Dean.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification including post graduate tertiary qualifications in business, finance, law, operational or HR management.
  • Equivalent extensive experience in senior management in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of significant human and material resources.
  • Excellent operational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and problems and develop feasible solutions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent complex projects from initiation through to completion.
