Salary
  • Base salary range: $91,833 – $97,052 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise in IT platforms and software tools supporting teaching and research in computer science and software engineering.
  • Collaborate with academic and IT staff to design, implement, and maintain teaching and research environments, including fieldwork.
  • Maintain compliance with University policies and promote a pragmatic safety culture.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in computing, IT, or related technical fields.
  • Proven ability to manage technical platforms and provide technical maintenance in a multi-environment setup (Windows, Linux, Mac).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recommend solutions in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with academic staff, students, and technical teams.
  • Ability to supervise staff and manage equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Ability to fit the physical requirements of the position.
  • Some after-hours work may be required.
