Responsibilities
  • Embedding Indigenous knowledge into the College’s academic programs and courses.
  • Developing and executing dedicated training for academic and professional staff.
  • Leading conversations with Deans and other executive-level leaders to create innovative solutions.
  • Enhancing Indigenous learner experiences within the College.
  • Implementing initiatives that foster a sense of belonging among Indigenous students.
  • Facilitating student engagement opportunities with Indigenous knowledge and contexts.
  • Contributing to and coordinating Learning & Teaching deliverables that align with University and College goals.

Requirements
  • Must be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage.
  • Demonstrated high-level capability in curriculum development and assessment.
  • Proven excellence in understanding issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
  • High-level communication skills with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in developing initiatives that enhance Indigenous student engagement.
  • High-level reporting and analysis skills.
  • Organisational and project management skills.
