Responsibilities
  • Shape and implement key strategic initiatives that align with Western’s long-term goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes.
  • Support the successful delivery of high-impact projects across the University.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of university-wide strategies that foster growth, innovation, and meaningful impact.
  • Manage complex, high-priority projects from inception to completion.
  • Review and refine business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Apply best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Guide a diverse and talented team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and external partners.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and assess the success of initiatives.

Requirements
  • Proven ability to shape and implement strategic initiatives in large, complex organisations.
  • Strong background in strategy, operations, and project management.
  • Skilled at leading cross-functional teams and managing high-priority projects from planning to delivery.
  • Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on when required.
  • Adept at fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive relationships with senior executives and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ability to use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and assess the success of initiatives.
