Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and strategic management for the Student Engagement unit.
  • Lead a committed team in implementing the University’s co-curricular programs.
  • Deliver student retention and success programs prioritizing student needs.
  • Support the Student Voice and Student Partnership models.
  • Engage with external student support service providers, government departments, community organizations, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with internal student groups, academic units, and various university teams.
  • Support the development of policy, strategies, reporting mechanisms, and performance measurements.
  • Oversee the management and implementation of projects across the university.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of innovative student engagement programs.
  • Experience in leadership and management of an operational team.
  • Proven ability to achieve change through collaborative processes and manage significant projects.
  • Experience in the tertiary education sector and knowledge of the regulatory environment.
  • Well-developed strategic, analytical and conceptual skills.
  • A relevant post-graduate qualification and extensive relevant experience or equivalent qualification.
