Base salary will range from: $89,861 - $96,402 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6)
Based predominantly at our vibrant and picturesque St Lucia Campus
About This Opportunity
We're seeking a highly organized Development Coordinator to join our International Development team. You'll play a crucial role in coordinating and supporting training, capacity building, and business development activities. Your responsibilities will include administration, financial management, stakeholder engagement, database management, and project support.
You'll work closely with our Project Support team to ensure smooth operations and efficient resource allocation. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Travel and non-standard work hours may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery
- Coordinate project activities, including travel, events, and online training platforms.
- Act as budget holder, ensure financial compliance, and prepare reports.
- Provide guidance to Development Assistants for project delivery.
- Compile short-term and long-term project reports.
- Represent UQID at events and meetings, both locally and internationally.
- Business Development & Engagement
- Assist with tender preparation and management.
- Create and manage marketing materials, including capability statements, brochures, and project documents.
- Manage databases and contribute to reports and presentations.

About You
Qualifications in a relevant related field in Project Management, Adult Education, International Development highly desirable.
Relevant experience in training program support, project management, or related coordination roles, combined with strong proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent English language skills.
Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, manage conflicting priorities, and navigate multicultural and diverse settings. Sound knowledge of project monitoring and evaluation.
High-level interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
High-level attention to detail, problem solving skills and ability to see a task through to completion. Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility, show initiative, work independently and in an autonomous manner.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including: right to work in Australia, criminal check, education check, AHPRA registration, mandatory immunisations, first aid and/or CPR certification, blue card check, etc.
