About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Training Administration Assistant will join a dynamic and supportive team responsible for the delivery of The Mental Health in Primary Schools (MHiPS) Initiative. The appointee will be the first point of contact for schools registering for the initiative and will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality support across a range of diverse tasks including training and development administration, general office administration, IT support, event coordination and communication.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative support including assistance with planning and implementation of project tasks
- Supporting all training and development administration and coordination for the program
- Supporting the delivery of core modules, communities of practice and conferences including scheduling seminar sessions via zoom, technical support during training delivery, communications and collating attendance data
Who We Are Looking For
You should demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, effectively relating to individuals across all organizational levels. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team is essential. Your enthusiastic and positive attitude, coupled with flexibility and a demonstrated ability to contribute to a high-performing team, is crucial. Additionally, you must showcase administrative and organizational skills, including effectively managing competing priorities and scheduling work to meet deadlines.
You will also have:
- Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- High level of proficiency in the use of software such as the Microsoft Office suite and Zoom.

This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
