Salary: Academic Level A.6 – $105,518 p.a. plus 17% super & $26,927 p.a. clinical loading (pro rata for part time)
Deliver high-quality clinical teaching and learning opportunities for medical students in the Child and Adolescent Health (CAH) program within the Doctor of Medicine course.

About the Role
The Paediatric Clinical Teaching Fellow will be based at the Royal Children's Hospital, working under the guidance of the University's Child and Adolescent Health Program Co-ordinators.
You will be responsible for delivering teaching sessions, mentoring medical students, contributing to assessments, and participating in curriculum development for the CAH program.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver teaching sessions such as clinical skills teaching at the bedside.
- Engage in professional development programmes to enhance clinical teaching skills.
- Contribute to knowledge engagement activities and support the Department's initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For
You will possess medical registration in Australia, advanced trainee or completion of postgraduate training (FRACP or equivalent), and experience in a clinical paediatrics practice environment.
You have highly developed interpersonal skills, the ability to work as a team, and a commitment to enhancing your professional and teaching skills.
You will also have:
- Experience in small group teaching (desirable).
- Postgraduate training in Clinical Education (desirable).
- Capacity and willingness to actively contribute to curriculum design and innovation (desirable).

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
