Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the research activities of the ARC Linkage Grant titled 'Intelligent Robotics for Pharmaceutical Experimental Development'.
  • Develop a robotic lab assistant to automate laborious experimental tasks.
  • Implement an interactive task and motion planner for scheduling experimental procedures.
  • Develop interfaces for collaboration between the robotic system and biochemists.
  • Develop robot simulators and human-in-the-loop digital twin models of laboratory robots and experimental equipment.
  • Create robot algorithms for task and motion planning and deploy them in simulation, user studies, and hardware.

Requirements
  • Hold a doctoral qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated hands-on research experience in robotics, automation, or software engineering.
  • Familiarity with robotics programming libraries and simulation environments.
