About the position
This senior leadership role ensures that all communication efforts align with institutional goals, strategies, and student needs, fostering an innovative communication service that contributes to enhanced student outcomes. The Senior Manager will oversee the Student Communications service, supporting broader student engagement initiatives within the PVC Student Experience and Employability division, as well as the wider DVCA portfolio, to meet the strategic goals and objectives of La Trobe University.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- Proven ability to lead communication teams within large institutions, ideally in the tertiary education sector.
- A track record of developing innovative strategies and implementing practical solutions for driving strategic change.
- Strong awareness and understanding of the University's activities, objectives, and strategic direction, both current and future, in a global context.
- Demonstrated leadership and accountability in achieving objectives and managing programs that impact a significant area at the divisional level or equivalent.
