Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the strategic development, planning, and operational management of student and academic administration functions.
  • Ensuring effective services for both higher education and vocational education students.
  • Focusing on areas such as curriculum implementation, academic calendars, course and fee configuration, results processing, academic progression, and scheduling services.
  • Defining priorities and business requirements for critical systems.
  • Driving service improvement initiatives and managing change across various student systems.
  • Leading a large team (40+) and providing strategic, future-oriented leadership.
  • Enhancing student experiences through innovation and digital technologies.
  • Ensuring operations and processes are streamlined and compliant with governing policies.
  • Serving as the Business Owner for critical IT enterprise systems.
  • Leading strategic discussions regarding academic calendars and key university dates.

Requirements
  • A relevant postgraduate qualification and extensive management and leadership experience in customer service and student experience management in a complex organisation; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training.
